July 20, 2012. Security boosted at Israel's El Al airport counters over terror concerns

Israeli officials increased security measures at El Al airport counters and at Israeli embassies around the world on July 19th over concerns that Iran and Hezbollah are plotting additional attacks on Israeli and Jewish interests, Israeli media said on July 20th. On July 19th, officials from the Israeli external and internal intelligence agencies, Mossad and Shin Bet respectively, met to discuss possible coordination and to assess the threat level in various countries.
