September 4, 2012. Car bomb hits Damascus suburb

A car bomb killed five people in the mostly Christian and Druze suburb of Jaramana, U.S. news sources reported on September 3rd. The neighborhood had previously been hit by a bomb on August 28th that killed 27 people.

Also on September 3rd, Syrian government aircraft bombed the city of Aleppo and surrounding province, killing dozens according to local sources. A Syrian opposition group reported the September 3rd death toll to be 138, including 78 civilians.
