What is Direct Pay?

Direct Pay is a service that issues a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) from HTH Worldwide to Participating Providers outside the U.S to cover medical treatment. In many countries providers require this at the time of the visit. If this guarantee is not arranged prior to the visit, the physician may require payment up front from you.

Request Direct Pay at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid paying out-of-pocket for medical care and submitting claims.

What is a Guarantee of Payment?

HTH Worldwide issues a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) to define the charges HTH Worldwide has agreed to pay for medically necessary services and clearly indicate any applicable copayments, coinsurance or deductibles that are the responsibility of the patient. Contracted providers may contact HTH Worldwide directly for a GOP prior to providing medical treatment. The Direct Pay process generates a GOP.

To view your Guarantees of Payment visit hthstudents.com or view them in the mpassport app

How do I buy an individual (voluntary) health insurance plan?

The fastest way is to purchase online. Begin by reviewing the products offered and their benefits and pricing, then follow the step-by-step online purchase process (payment is by credit card). Buying online also allows you to register for the HTH Students website immediately following the purchase. Students who buy 'offline' can also register for the website, but they must first receive their ID card in the mail.

HTH also accepts enrollment forms by fax to 866.281.1643 or by mail to the following address: HTH Worldwide Insurance Services, Enrollment Department, One Radnor Corporate Center, Suite 100, Radnor, PA 19087. Enrollment forms can be found online as a part of the online brochures, which are available as PDF files -- see Individual products. If you purchase by fax or mail, your coverage will be effective on the date you select or the date we receive valid payment of premium, whichever is later.
